Tax-Exempt Status
The Interfaith Working Group (IWG) is a Pennsylvania Corporation with an exempt status under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in section 501(c)(3), of the type described in sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi).
Special Thanks
We would like to extend a special thanks to founding board members and co-coordinators Chris Purdom and Barbara Purdom for their 10 years of tireless effort, challenging the Religious Right's claim to represent all people of faith. Their work advocating for LGBT people, reproductive freedom and separation of church and state has not only served the public welfare, but has also taught us just how much can be accomplished by individuals who are willing to act on their passion for justice.
